This Christmas season, Emerge Restaurants took a heartfelt initiative to show LOVE and appreciation for its people. Staying true to the company’s core value of love, the CEO and COO personally visited nine restaurants in a single day to hand out ten $1,000 checks to employees across Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC, and Sonic.
This initiative was born out of a desire to give back during the holidays and bring joy to team members who have shown immense dedication to their teams, customers, and the company. Many of the selected employees are long-tenured and have been integral to Emerge’s success, making this recognition all the more special.
What made this day truly remarkable were the emotions shared during the visits. "It was a tearjerker almost every single time," shared Mick. "Seeing the employees feel acknowledged and appreciated moved us deeply. It was one of the greatest things we've been able to do during a restaurant visit."
This act of kindness wasn’t just about giving; it was about creating a moment to pause and recognize the people who have stood by the company through the challenges of the year. Emerge hopes to continue this initiative in the years to come, extending it beyond Houston and finding more ways to spread love and support within their restaurant community.
As Mick noted, “Regardless of how tough the year has been, it’s important to stop for a moment and help encourage those who’ve been through challenges. We’re just glad to be there for them and let them know we care.”
